Angelina is excited she only has a month and a half left of school. This summer will be quite different for her. Instead of her having to go to daycare for most of the summer, she gets to stay home with mommy and Luke! She is very excited. We have been planning different trips to the zoo, bowling alley, aquarium, and museums, including the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri. But most of all, we are excited to use the pool in our backyard! We are opening it up Memorial Weekend. Angelina's new favorite thing to do is having sleep overs! In the past month, she has had four sleep overs with the girls on the street. They all get along so well. This year, for Angelina's birthday, she has requested a slumber party with the theme being Littlest Pet Shop. We are going to have so much fun :)
Luke is now 8 months old. Every day he practices his crawing skills and get a little bit better than the day before. He now can get across the room fairly quickly if he sees a toy that he wants. The dogs are starting to move out of his way when they see him coming. He is eating "big people" food now and loves it! He hasn't said his first word yet but we should hear it in a matter of days. He is very talkative, especially in the morning. He is having his baby dedication on Mother's Day, May 10th at our church here in Tulsa.
Yes, we did find a church we absolutely love! It didn't take long to find either. The kids really enjoy their Sunday classes/nursery and Andy and I really enjoy the pastor. The church is called Church at Battle Creek and focuses on involving the community via small groups and each month they do missionary work. They have missions locally as well as in Egypt, Mexico, Asia and South America.
Andy is turning 29 years YOUNG this upcoming Saturday, April 11th. He is going to have a great birthday weekend! On April 13th, we are having our 8 year anniversary! Can you believe it's already been 8 years?! I am happy to declare that the well known rumored "seven year itch" never touched our marriage and we both thank our Lord for that. God and communication are key (and in that order!) :D

Good job Andy! You created another little monster! We miss you guys, and envy you guys, boy how I'd love to be out of CA. Everything is so expensive, sales tax just went up 1%, houses are ridiculously priced, etc. Anyway, Proud of you guys. Let us know when you'll next be in the CA, so we might be able to see you. Gotta go, no rest for parents.
